Car Camera Wiring Tip - Using the red tail wire for power

If you've ever looked at one of those Amazon or eBay car cameras and wondered how you wire it, maybe this will help. Yes... that red lead coming out of the video cable can be used to run power to the camera... and I had a surprising accidental discovery about the ground!

CPO Tip: Rubber Bushing Install - JKS Rear Track Bar - Project 2004 Jeep TJ Wrangler

This is such an embarrassingly simple tip... it had to be published. It's the little things like this that sometimes cause us to scratch our heads - especially when it's your first time doing a task. I hope this helps someone who might be stuck - even momentarily - on getting their new rubber bushings to push all the way into their track bar!

You may want to modify the factory trackbar axle mount bracket to allow for unrestricted suspension travel- ESPECIALLY if running the Long Travel rear shocks. Call for more info on this!!!

DIY Magnet Mount Trail Camera (DVR or Reverse Rear Camera Too!)

This is a simple way to mount cameras. It is easily done and allows for the cameras to be securely placed, yet movable.

The specifications aren't critical. I just liked the 3/4" size. Anthing will work. Get Neodymium tho.
