Bartact Front Seat Cover Install (Side Air Bag Compatible)

This is the method for installing the Bartact (formerly TrekArmor) front JK seat covers. My covers happen to be side air bag compatible, because my seats have air bags. The process is exactly the same for non-airbag compatible Bartact seat covers - without the flap of course.

I find installation to be easy without using any aids such as tape or plastic bags. Feel free to use whatever method works best for you. The key is to rotate the seat as far forward as it will go to open the space between the bottom cushion and the seat back.

  2. Is the seat cover snug? I am wanting seat covers for my jeep but I hate feeling like I am tugging them around when I am getting in and out! Also, what edition of the cover did you get? I looked on their website and there are a few options! Awesome video!

  4. Excellent display of how to install. I just picked me up a set for the front. Install was very easy and now that I know how well they are manufactured, I will be ordering the rear seat covers son. Thanks

  5. Where did you get these seat covers? I'd like the matching rear bench cover too. These just have red stitching as an accent which is more my choice too, don't care for the ones with the wide red area you see on amazon and ebay. My Jeep is a 2 door '08, so not sure if Bartact has these for my JK.

  8. Could you possibly put up a link to those exact same seat covers. Black with the red stitching. I went to the Bartact website and all I could find is the black with the large red insert. I want the ones you have.

  11. I've found a way to slide the cover down the front seats. Put the wrong ones on first, then realize your mistake and pull them off, switch and re-install. Doh! They went on much easier, not easy but easier, the second time.

  13. Great video, thank you. FYI, that knot you used is called a "trucker's hitch". It's a great knot for keeping the cord tight.

  14. Hey CPO, big fan of your videos. I'm about to purchase Bartact (airbags) front seat covers in black. Are you still sporting these? How are they holding up? My concern is the airbag flap staying put. Any issues? Thanks.

  15. How do you like your see covers and do they have any wrinkles and will they come out in time? How is the stitching on these seat covers also?
