The SAM is a no frills yet highly capable accessory that adapts your Hi-Lift ® jack to mount directly to your D-ring shackle mounting tab. Unlike it's bigger brother, there is no need to use a shackle to connect the jack to the bumper. Just secure it directly to the shackle mounting tab using the included clevis pin.

Fairlead Opening Modification

Its a good idea to make sure your fairlead opening is clear of anything that your winch line could rub against. I've been meaning to take care of this for a while, and I finally got it done. The fairlead slot on my Barricade bumper was just a little narrower than the aluminum fairlead that came with my winch. That meant there was a little steel lip that could potentially end up interfering with my winch line. A little grinding...and it's not an issue any longer.

Just some quick non-scientific testing in the garage to answer two questions:

1. How long does it take me to air up my tires with my portable air compressor and the HURRICANE.

2. Is using the HURRICANE faster than not using it.

The JeepsNeeds Hurricane is a rapid tire deflation and inflation device. It's amazingly fast, as you can see in the video below! You won't want to air down or up any other way ever again. The Hurricane comes as just the body assembly, or the complete kit including 4 air hoses with quick connect fittings. Why do we sell it with or without hoses? Because we have found people can usually source hoses on their own, that will help reduce the initial cost of the Hurricane. Hoses can be procured from most hardware or home improvement stores. Of course, we've specially built our hoses to have the fastest air flow possible and be super quick. They are sized to easily accommodate the wheel base of a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, or similarly sized vehicle.
