[For Off-Road Use Only]

The JeepsNeeds SAM has finally arrived! Meet the little brother to the wildly popular DLA!

http://jeepsneeds.com/products/jeepsneeds-sam-for-hi-lift-jack

You asked for a simpler and more cost effective way to safely and securely attach your Hi-Lift ® jack to your off-road bumper and we are proud to offer a solution! The SAM is a no frills yet highly capable accessory that adapts your Hi-Lift ® jack to mount directly to your D-ring shackle mounting tab. Unlike it's bigger brother, there is no need to use a shackle to connect the jack to the bumper. Just secure it directly to the shackle mounting tab using the included clevis pin.

Need to know more? Watch the video for a complete overview and demonstration of the product. Also, check out the flagship offering in the Hi-Lift ® accessory space: The D-Lift Adaptor.

  6. Nice accessory. I still prefer using a Hi-Lift jack mate (Part Number: H-LLM-100) for a couple of reasons however. If stuck, the jack mate will pull your wheel and axle housing up without having to take the slack out of the suspension. If you have a flat it's a simple procedure to jack the wheel up and block the axle with a jack stand or trail log.

  7. Unfortunately however, the shackle connects so high on the bumper that he had it all the way to the highest point on the hi-lift and the tire barely cleared the pavement by a 1/2 inch. This is not good.

  8. This would not work with the amount of travel I have

  9. That's fantastic. Great idea, helps remove the sketchiest part of using a high lift.

  11. The Geometry of the DLA looks a little complicated for bending or forming. For a cost reduction, your team should try looking into an extrusion process with a 6082 or 7000 series aluminum.

  14. When the SAM is mounted on the jack, it is levered up against the quite thin casting that angles back from the jack shoe. It looks like a good way to have a bad day and also ruin a high-lift jack.

Have you ever tested it up to the 4.600# rating of the jack?
