Halfmoon Creek Trail Near Leadville Colorado

Cool challenging trail near Leadville, Colorado. Water crossing plus rock obstacle. Going up was a little easier. I could have done the down side better... I wanted to be a little more driver at the end, and when I tried to correct, I couldn't because there was now a rock stopping me at the rear bumper. A couple of attempts to back up and move more driver resulted in sliding even more passenger...so I ended up just rolling with it. Super fun!

Force Protection Paint Film and Dick Myers Jeep Jam 2016

This is sort of a two-for-one video... It was really about showing off the clear paint protection film that Force Protection, LLC put on my doors, but ended with a great day hanging out with cool folks at the Dick Myers Jeep Jam in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Of course, I "talked Jeep" with a lot of folks, and pretty much talked about anything people wanted to talk about...from how to remove doors, carpet removal, tires, snorkels, seat covers, tailgate gear, suspension, steering, headlights and light bars....and I even took off my grill to show someone how I did my grill inserts. It was an awesome day, and if you are anywhere near Harrisonburg...checking out the Dick Myers Jeep Jam is something you should add to the list!

Steer Smarts HD GRIFFIN and YETI Steering in action

This is just a few minutes of video footage of the Steer Smarts HD Griffin and complete YETI steering assembly in action. This was essentially a test drive after install. It's unfortunately not super exciting video, and it's probably hard to tell - but there was a significant difference in feel over the stock steering assembly.

The HD GRIFFIN for the YETI draglink is expected to be available for sale in August 2016. However, the GRIFFIN attenuator for the stock drag link is currently in stock. http://steersmarts.com

This whole assembly is pretty amazing! Steer Smarts is not new to steering. In fact, steering has been their entire business for 85 years! they are manufacturers of many OEM steering components for many vehicles (many are heavy trucks) on the road today. They have several patents for the steering innovations they have designed. They have only recently broken into the aftermarket realm in providing the Griffin and YETI components for the Jeep Wrangler...but the design comes with many years of experience and testing. These guys know steering!
