I had an opportunity to throw on some tire chains to get over some snow that drifted over the forest service road we were on near Silverton, Colorado. I decided to take a moment to do a quick demonstration on how to install the chains for those who haven't done it before.
These are the Quick Grip QG2826 ladder style with V-bars...and they offer great traction. This model number fits my tires, which are 35x12.50R17.

Are those just for offroad use since they have those bars ?
ReplyDeleteAfter watching this, it is neither quick nor is it grippy.... But as usual nice job Chief...
ReplyDeleteMan I greatly appreciate your video. I have the 2007 4 dr JK with 35.12.50x15 and have had a hell of a time trying to figure out what size chains to get, but when you showed that back I took a picture and started surfing the net. I also off road I in Oregon and we just moved here from Georgia to take care of my aging parents. Man I can't thank you enough for showing that picture of the chain bag. Quick question, those chains do have the aggressive gripper links on that that came out of that bag?
