Here's a look at CJ's Jeep before we start working on repairs and the modifications. Still unsure if we need to do the valve cover gasket and/or the rear main seal... the leak isn't bad.. so that's good. See anything else I missed? I haven't bought a used vehicle this old in a looong time. lol
Really enjoying this, I have the same thing, fewer miles more rust.

CPO. Good choice for your son. I'm looking for a similar steed for my 20 year old son. I think that learning to drive a manual transmission makes for a more attentive driver and after having been an off roader for over 40 years I'd always pick a manual over an automatic for going off road. I made my boy learn to drive my RSX with a 6 speed and now he doesn't like to drive an automatic. Anyway we'll watch and learn from you and perhaps follow in your footsteps in the near future. Thanks for sharing your experience.
