I just got a new Hi-Lift jack, after using my old one for about 20 years. I was curious if the new one is the same as the old one... and well.. that's why I made a video. I thought maybe someone else would like to know as well. I was wondering if the parts were different... or if the bar was thicker, or wider... welp... now I know!

  10. Dad bent the shaft on his jacking up his pickup and pushing it off the jack to get out of the ditch 30+ years ago. It's still doing it's job, just has a good story to tell now, that's all.

  11. I own two Hi Lift Jacks, The HL-485 all cast model and the 60" Extreme, I would not trade them for the world, No 4x4 is complete without one.

  12. Hi-Lift are the only way to go for almost all jacking work. Yes use your head and if you are a little-limited mentally be safe and call a tow service.

  15. I'd love to see a comparison of a 1905 vs a 2017 HI-LIFT jack. They are still well made jacks, I have two Patriot version jacks, and a cast and steel model.
