It was time for my 500 mile break-in gear oil change....so I brought you along for the ride. I still need to change the front ProRock 44 gear oil, but that process is exactly the same, with the exception of the magnetic drain plug seen in in this video. So if you were wondering how to change your differential gear oil... maybe this will help.
The oil I am using is Amsoil Severe Gear® 75W-140.

Why not use a LubeLocker gasket?
ReplyDeleteI use lube locker instead or rtv it's a lot easier and reusable
ReplyDeleteYou may wanna look into doing some por15 undercoat, and eastwood internal frame coating, looks like you have some rust building up on your frame.
