Hauled these tires over to my buddy Paul Warren at World Tour Off Road to swap out the Guard Dogs. The Treadwrights have served me well, but I am moving to 37s, and they don't make them in my size! Booooo! lol. The Nitto Ridge Grapplers seem to be a very well-liked tire... so let's see how they do on OVERCLOCK3D!

  1. How much tread was left on the treadwright tires? A giveaway might be nice if there's still enough tread. Would look good on my jk!

  5. Big fan of hybrid tires. I've been running the Toyo RT's for about two years now. How do you like the Nittos?

  6. Looks good but you might want to re-gear sooner then later. You going 4.88 or 5.13?

  9. Have you done any suspension work other than springs and shocks? If not I would recommend upgrading ball joints at the very least before they go out on you when you don't want them to. That's a lot of weight to be slinging around especially at highway speeds and if you haven't started beefing up your suspension components you might want to think about it soon. I second the re-gear recommendation. I went to 5.13 and it makes a world of difference and I'm only on 35s.

  10. I hope you're getting C gussets, sleeves, and chromally shafts too. How is driving that with the 3.73s?

  17. Im getting new axles next month Dynatrac PR60 axle set , getting the 37 Nitto Ridge Grapplers with KMC Machete Beadlocks 8x6.5. Also going 4.88's .. Just Installed the KING 2.5's this weekend with the adjusters.
    Two questions ---
    1. How you liking the 4.88's - Do you feel you made the right decision - can you feel the difference ?
    2. Any suggestion on the King 2.5 settings ? Do you run higher in the front vs rear , or lower in front higher in the rear ? what settings are you using ?

  19. Great vids! Thank you for all the detail. Now that you've had "new shoes" for a little while now, how would you rate them? I've run Terra Grapplers on our truck and BFG Mud Terrains on jeep. Want something in between. Hoping this or BFG TA2 are the answer!
