This is the install of the Excessive Industries Rear NBO (Nearly Bolt On) bumper on OVERCLOCK3D - a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU).

Simply stated, this bumper is extremely unique. From its appearance to its functionality, it is designed for the highest possible ground clearance along with the best possible departure angle without any major frame modification. This bumper fits snug to the back of your Jeep and the design compliments the look of your Jeep JK or JKU. Our bumper also provides you with the ability to still tow a trailer with your Jeep! With a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs, it can handle just as much as your Jeep can. Just remember to never exceed your vehicle manufacture towing capacity! Designed with our one of a kind high clearance corners, this bumper gives you the protection and strength you want, with the ground clearance you need to take on even the toughest obstacles. It is truly a hybrid between a stubby and a mid width bumper. Built from 3/16” steel plate, and mounted to your Jeep by 1/2” steel plate, our bumpers are built to last. We’ve also built in a Hi Lift jacking point into each corner of the bumper, making your Hi Lift jack easier and safer to use. And with the strength to lift the entire corner of your Jeep off the ground, it also makes for quicker and easier recoveries! For a finishing touch, we also include the cut outs for any flush mount led pods!

NBO- Nearly Bolt On! This means there are no major modifications to run this series! You can easily switch to something else down the road, or even back to stock!

If its a true Stubby rear bumper your looking for, be sure to check out the gallery for more photos! And of course, feel free to contacted us with any questions you may have!

All necessary grade 8 mounting hardware is included.

What soft top are you using, and does it leak?

  5. The rust on your quarter panel at 11:50 was that caused by the barricade bumper rubbing or the factory one ?

  6. Very nice strong bumpers man. I just wonder why the maker of the bumper couldn't just add a 1/4 or more to the bottom in order to clear that part of the brace? I can deal with the 45 cuts and the pinch seems being worked on but not cutting that part of the brace.

Or maybe an extra day and you could have flipped that piece of bracing you cut off and welded it back up or small piece of flat bar welded back up. Other wise bad ass bumpers well worth it.

And I like the bed liner spay on it's always easy to buy and touch up any chips or scratches. That stuff is pretty hard and can take some abuse.

Can't wait to see the front bumper install

  7. You should pick up a face mask for your grinder! Stay safe! Seen what happens when things go wrong with them.

If you had some time you could of boxed up the rear cross member again with what you cut off to keep it structurally sound. Good job👍🏻
