Jeep JK and JKU NBO Series Mid Width Front Bumper

Designed to be a perfect match to our popular High Clearance Rear Bumper, this one has it all! Our bumpers offer Hi Lift jacking points on each corner that are strong enough to lift your Jeep completely off the ground. They are built into our one of a kind, high clearance corners. These corners are designed to give you the protection you want, and the ground clearance that you need to take on even the toughest trails. Built from 3/16 plate steel, they are also made to last. Fully boxed and gusseted corners offer superior strength compared to our competition. Available with either a stinger or a bull bar, you can customize this bumper to your liking. Other options include the winch tray, as well as the lower light enclosure. Mount up to a 20’’ light bar or a total of 4 pods. This mounting location keeps the light down low where you need it, and is strong enough to protect them. It does require the removal of the factory crash bar to be able to utilize the light enclosure, but this makes it possible to gain approach angle and ground clearance over the factory set up!

NBO- Nearly Bolt On! This means there are no major modifications to run this series! You can easily switch to something else down the road, or even back to stock! Please note that if you add the lower light enclosure, removal of the factory crash bar is necessary.

All necessary grade 8 mounting hardware included!

From its appearance to its functionality, it is designed for the highest possible ground clearance along with the best possible departure angle without any major frame modification. This bumper fits snug to the back of your Jeep and the design compliments the look of your Jeep JK or JKU. Our bumper also provides you with the ability to still tow a trailer with your Jeep! With a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs, it can handle just as much as your Jeep can. Just remember to never exceed your vehicle manufacture towing capacity! Designed with our one of a kind high clearance corners, this bumper gives you the protection and strength you want, with the ground clearance you need to take on even the toughest obstacles. It is truly a hybrid between a stubby and a mid width bumper. Built from 3/16” steel plate, and mounted to your Jeep by 1/2” steel plate, our bumpers are built to last. We’ve also built in a Hi Lift jacking point into each corner of the bumper, making your Hi Lift jack easier and safer to use. And with the strength to lift the entire corner of your Jeep off the ground, it also makes for quicker and easier recoveries! For a finishing touch, we also include the cut outs for any flush mount led pods!

  2. What method did you use to apply the POR15?

  3. 😆 I was referring to POR15 Paint. BTW Thank you for making these videos. They are very well done and I especially enjoy your product reviews.

  4. CPO, love your videos! Hopefully I will see you at a jeep meet soon, I saw your jeep at All Breeds but not you!

  5. Why did you not go for black powder coating? I would think it will be a better option than normal spray painting.

  6. These bumpers look like they are made really well and with good materials. I am not a fan of the bat wings sticking out on the sides. Kinda like some tune fenders out there. They look like the jeep is getting ready to take flight. But all in all another great video

  7. Thanks for posting this video and all the others on your channel. They're great "how to" and "product reviews" all rolled into one. After watching a few times I wanted to be sure the order of the products used - 1) wash with soap 2) POR 15 Metal Prep 3) Eastwood Internal Frame Coating 4) Rattle Can Matte Black paint. Is this correct order and did you use Eastwood Paint or Rustoleum or something else? I was curious if you had better luck with any brand over the other with paint. I was thinking of going with a bare metal bumper and paint it myself and was curious. Thanks again! Can't wait to see them on the Jeep!

  10. I used Dupli-color truck bed liner, the stuff in the blue can, on my bumpers 2 years ago and they, quickly, faded to a bluish purplish grey color and offered very little corrosion protection. I will redo with POR-15 as a base next time. The Dupli-color left a very nice looking black sandpaper like finish when misted from a farther distance than usual, as a final coat. I think I will try using a clear coat to protect against fading, next time, or just find a different product. To bad, it looks really nice at first but doesn't last. Where I sprayed in the interior still looks good.
