Installation of Smittybilt SRC Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier - Project 2004 TJ Wrangler
I helped CJ install his Smittybilt SRC rear bumper and tire carrier. We had a few challenges, but we got it done as usual. I let him do most of the work on this one while I was working on my own Jeep.

As you can see in the video, we didn't get the final mounting bolts in because we will need to drop the fuel tank, and we just weren't ready to do that yet. We'll do that part later.

Stock Rear Bumper, Tire Carrier, and Tow Receiver Removal - Project 2004 TJ Wrangler
In this video CJ removes his stock rear bumper and tire carrier, as well as the Reese tow receiver that was installed. The flag broke on one of the nuts for the tow receiver, so I just grabbed an angle grinder and cut off the bolt... problem solved! We also had to preserve some wildlife during this video. Really. Seriously. Watch.

Our bumpers offer Hi Lift jacking points on each corner that are strong enough to lift your Jeep completely off the ground. They are built into our one of a kind, high clearance corners. These corners are designed to give you the protection you want, and the ground clearance that you need to take on even the toughest trails. Built from 3/16 plate steel, they are also made to last.
