This is a 2015 JKU Willys Wheeler. I pulled off the factory fender flares to install some Smittybilt XRC flares. I was looking for info on how to properly remove the flares and I found lots of videos of guys just ripping them off. That makes for fun video...but here's the rest of the story.
Will the clips that break off, like, actually break? Can I put them back on the jeep?
ReplyDeleteWhen you're filming a "how to", it's more helpful if you include information like what size the bolts are.
ReplyDeleteAre you still liking these after a year? I'm worried about dirt/splash up from the narrow coverage. Has that been an issue? Just purchased them for $230 so figured I'd give it a shot. Interested in your thoughts after one year CPO.
ReplyDeletewhat size tool?!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your practical how-to. Not like other videos that didn't show you the exact location/number of bolts.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm looking to replace my factory fender flares with a newer set of factory fender flares. (Mine are sun faded(2009), and the new ones(2017) are free) Will the clips breaking affect me putting the new ones on?
