I had this happen about a week ago. I fixed the problem the same way. I did notice that I turned the key over extremely fast that time, which may have been the reason why. Who knows....
I have very same issue but just passenger side front window, it would roll part way up then stop but would roll down, I would just keep driving and try 20 min. later and would roll up, was planning on taking to dealer but now I will try your fix first
I had this exact problem a few months ago. Rolled the windows down and then they won't go back up. Just the fronts, not the backs. Wife is shaking her head at me. We get home and I park in the garage. Turn it off then back on just for grins and everything works again. Really!?! Seriously?!? Hasn't happened since so there's been no worries. Just part of owning a Jeep in my mind.
happened to me when I got my 2016 jku, I was like wtf then stopped the jeep turned it off then back on and it worked again. Hasn't happened since I first got it last August. weird
Man, you rock. I'd watched this vid over a month ago; so when it happened to me last week, I knew exactly what to do. Weird glitch, so thanks for the tip!
that with any kind of computer device. home pc, laptop, smartphone etc. so it would stand to reason that it would work on a car as well
ReplyDeleteHad the same 'glitch' . Same solution ..
ReplyDeleteI've never had this issue. Might be the reprogrammer you're using. If it does ever happen, thanks for the tip.
