Surprise Present for OVERCLOCK3D!

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQlJn2wEzQM&w=640&h=360]

I've been thinking about doing this for a long time. Researching. Thinking. Planning. Here is what I am putting into OVERCLOCK3D:

Seicane Model S18JP25 -- http://bit.ly/S18JP25

Seicane gave me a code to share, so if you want to save some money... use this code at checkout for a 5% discount:
O3DJEEPS

Android 7.1 10.1 inch 1024*600 HD Touchscreen Radio Head Unit

It comes with a Quad Core 1.6 GHz processor, 16GB of internal memory (expandable with MicroSD or USB storage) and 2GB of RAM.

I was looking for a pure Android (7.1 preferred) head unit that would allow me to tweak it the way I wanted. Let's hope this handles what I need!

It does work with factory Alpine stereo upgrade!

Install video and other how-tos to follow.

Here's that Wrangler Forum thread I mentioned in the video:

  2. I have a Boss Audio 10.1" single din head unit. No Nav but it plays music videos good enough. Only cost me $250.

  4. They don't...but there are other head units out there that have car play. There are very few that run full android OS... I can do so much with android... change the look, operation, etc...

  11. Sorry to break the news to you but...that thing is trash. I'm a MECP certified car audio/alarm installer & installed a dozen of these Seicanes and 1st off... sound quality is horrendous. Every time I've tried to tune this thing, I can't turn volume 1/4 without it distorting & signal clipping which will wreak havoc on speaker voice coils. Even w/ external amps, pre-out voltage clips before even gain matching amps. Opened them up, internals are as crappy as it gets, uses capXon capacitors & I've seen those fail repeatedly w/ everything from budget PC boards to TV's, output driver board for mosfets are sub-mediocre at best...in plain English this thing might have a lifespan of a year before components start failing. Soldering looks like it was done by a 7 yr old...cause it probably was. All it takes is to install 2-3 apps for processor to get bogged down & RAM to get maxed out. No quality control, No customer service so once this thing craps out...and it will because of the dozen I've installed within the past 2 yrs, not a single one still functions w/o issue, it'll be a 10" screen paperweight. I wouldn't run this thing if I was paid to, especially if you have premium ot aftermarket speakers because you'd be putting those in jeopardy wiring them up to this thing. There's no shortage of bad reviews on this unit from people that actually know their car audio, not the handful of vlogs on YouTube by Jeepers that don't know no better. If you want a big touch screen w/ functionality of a tablet, get a reliable, basic HU ie Pioneer/Kenwood/Alpine & Carrich JK iPad mount.
