Here's another Jeep Vlogging episode (JOGGING). I was ready to install new springs in the Project 2004 Jeep TJ Wrangler build, and so I headed out to AutoZone to borrow a McPherson Strut Compressor, and I thought I'd take you along for the ride!
Really digging these videos, i'd suggest maybe solid mounting a gopro to show either just a front view of the hood and road or of the "cockpit" lol either way great vid!
TriggerHapySheep I appreciate the feedback. There are hundreds of vloggers out there with vehicle mounted GoPros...I've done a few like that. There are none that I know of that are using a POV perspective. That's what I'm going for. Tbh... i find the stationary mounted shots boring after a while. Thats just me tho I'm still experimenting with GoPro settings and mounting options...but I'm hoping the POV view brings something more interesting... Such as when I happened to look over at Burger King... I don't think it would "feel" the same if it was just a stationary mount. I may experiment with multiple camera shots...but tbh, the more difficult it is to set up and then later edit, the less likely I am to do it regularly...since unfortunately it takes a lot of time. :-)

fair enough! personally i find the pov really nice when watching for the fact that you can "look around". i figured the stationary view would help with when the sun shines in the window and the outside view gets washed out and all we see is the interior. either way i dig the videos! been subbed for quite a while!
Oh, and I forgot to ask, I know you’re running 37’s. What gearing did you go with? It seems like you’ve got pretty good acceleration. New gears are on my short list!
Every time I hear your exhaust it makes me smile
ReplyDeleteThe visors only extend on the 2011 and newer JK's.. My 07 does not extend!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, what exhaust is that?! Love the sound.

ReplyDeleteThey don't extend out enough to go all the way across your driver's side window. Window visor lol
ReplyDeletewhat are you using to film these?
ReplyDeleteNo tomatoes 🍅. Well at least you got cheese so you redeemed yourself
ReplyDeleteFirespyer GoPro Session 5. I'm still experimenting with settings.
