Ok... 11:15, what is that?
ReplyDeleteOk. Later in the video. You say it's just a clamp. Thought it was some sort of drill stabilizer.
ReplyDeleteSWBCrawler yeah it's kind of funny the angle of the camera makes it looks like it's somewhat associated with the drill but it's just a clamp next to the drill. It's a cheap $3 Harbor Freight clamp. Love those things!
ReplyDeleteLooking awesome. Great video. And I'm still jealous.
ReplyDeleteSWBCrawler did you notice I added a few elements form that discussion we we're having on Facebook?
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] haven't seen it.. guess I have to go over there now. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnother great install with some good tips. Love MetalCloak products, the fenders and liners are my next order to MC. Still waiting for some decent weather here in Ontario, Canada to put on my MC bumpers, tire carrier and finish my MC suspension with the control arms.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you show inner fender fitment on video. I also have the same snorkel setup. I want to See how you did your before I buy same inners. Thank bud, keep up the great vids.
ReplyDeleteHow are ya likin' them fenders? I think they're the best looking ones out there.
ReplyDeleteAutoedit does good work 😉
ReplyDeleteAre the wheels on cj’s tj the mammoth boulders or something else?
ReplyDeleteRyan Bartimus yep that's them!
ReplyDeleteWALTERRIFIC so far.. love them. I agree... They are the best looking fender for the JK!
ReplyDeleteI like the fenders... I always like your videos because you provide good tips. What are you doing with your old fenders? If you don't need them I take them off your hands ($$) of course. :) holler at me.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. MC has flares for the JK not fenders. The other Wranglers (TJ/YJ), MCs has front fenders with integral flares and just flares for the rear.
ReplyDeleteJKs don't get their front fenders replaced with another format of a fender.
Michael Moran interesting... I never really thought about it before... But it kinda makes sense. The JK fender is much more integrated in the JK... So even just changing the thickness of the metal would mess up all kinds of stuff. Probably no point making new fenders if they have to be the same tin can thickness!
ReplyDeleteThey are in the garage... and now for sale!
ReplyDeleteThat second video is up... wanted to make sure you saw it. There are a lot of options on that... I was considering maybe in the future doing more....but the simple cuts got me installed.
ReplyDeleteI need a frisbee dog...
ReplyDeletePM'ing you!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] what happen to the Jeep emblem inners you had?
ReplyDeleteOh... I ended up selling those and went with these metalcloaks that were designed to fit the fenders. You can probably make the exact same modification I did to get those Auxmarts to fit around the snorkel. I just decided it wasn't worth cutting them up if I was going to switch them out.... Sorry about that. It was a last minute decision to change directions.
ReplyDeleteI have the overlands on mine. I live right around the corner from these guys here in CA and had them do it for me. The guys at metalcloak are such enthusiasts and so wonderful. I had all the guys at the shop sign my right side inner aluminum liner before installing. I love this company.
ReplyDeleteI'm going full metalcloak susp soon once I get the funds. Excuse my loyalty!
It’s so refreshing to see a real Jeep guy do one of these videos. So many gals tape everything off and paint match everything. You def have been around the block clocked and it’s awesome. Great job with all the videos for this project!
