I often see the discussion come up regarding the benefits of the five tire rotation in comparison to a four tire rotation. The claim is often that you get 20% more tread life from your tires if you add your spare into the rotation. Well... not quite. You get 20% more MILEAGE on your vehicle before you need to buy tires. But, you do have to buy 5 tires instead of 4. However, there are some down sides to the 4 tire rotation... so I tried to cover that in this video.

In this video, I walk you through my test bit of these AUXMART aluminum finder liners. For most people, these are probably going to be a very easy installation. For me, however, I do have to make some modifications to clear it existing parts.

These aluminum liners are very thin, which makes them lightweight. However, they also bend very easily. I don't see this as a problem once they are installed. They have a very simple job, and that is to protect if the engine compartment and also allow for some ventilation. I don't think you need heavy duty liners to achieve that goal. So for the price point, these might be a good fit for those of you on a budget or, like me, who want to just experiment was something without spending too much money before you start.
