This video is a little different than you are used to seeing from me. Sure you'll see a couple of Jeep running The Car Wash at Hell's Revenge, but this video is more about the guys on the motorcycles. We had so much fun!

great videos as always. I wanted to ask you a crazy question maybe you can answer 2017 jeep JK sport auto comes with a five speed right? but if you try to shift it manually it only shows 1,2 and 3 why is that shouldn't you be able to shift 1,2,3,4 and 5 manually?
ReplyDeleteYou should be able to hit the 4th and 5th gears.... I do. Are you doing it at a fast enough speed and rpm to make it appropriate? It's not full manual control - the computer still wants to help.
ReplyDeletewhat I'm saying is you put the sifter to "D" then if you move the sifter to the right wile on "D" a number 1 shows up on the dash that's first gear so you take off you hit again the number 2 show on the dash and gain they the number 3 but that's it should it not do 4 and 5 also sense its a 5 speed auto.
ReplyDeleteI was totally expecting you to play Rose Royce - Car Wash in the background of the vid, lol.

ReplyDeleteThat was funny, glad no one got hurt...
ReplyDelete+Roger Jeep Posse you can go through 4th and 5th gear but you just have to be going fast enough for it to work. That's why I was asking the question. For mine I think I have to be going above like 20 to 25 miles an hour for it to register that there's a 4th gear option and then somewhere between 25 and 30 miles an hour before to let me push it over into 5th. But anything above say 25 or 30 miles an hour I can push all the way through 3rd 4th and 5th gear manually no problem. if I'm just sitting still it will only let me go through first and second gears it doesn't give me the 3rd 4th and 5th option until I'm going faster
ReplyDeletegot it thank you
ReplyDeleteYou and Brad from Trailrecon didn't meet up
ReplyDeleteBraver Men than Me! Great Video!
ReplyDeleteI know I’m a tough & adventurous guy but those guys have MAJOR cahonΓ©s!!! I would never do any off roading on a dirt bike. Glad both are ok π€π½π€π½π€π½π€π½π€π½
ReplyDeleteI used to own one of those bikes before I got into jeeps. I tried some tight single track on it and couldn't believe how heavy that bike gets once things get technical. Props to those guys for giving it a go. ππΌ
