This was our run on Fins and Things. This was the warm-up run before spending the rest of the day over on Hell's Revenge. This trail is pretty much slickrock and sand. There are a few fun spots here and there, but it's more scenic, and dare I say, relaxing that technical. That's my friend George ahead of me in the Jeep, and my motorcycle-riding friends Drew and Sean are out playing on their own out there...

Another great trail video. Well done! πΊπΈ
ReplyDeleteNice video, thumbs up ;-)
ReplyDeleteWise choice picking the south route instead of north!
ReplyDeleteWhy is that?
ReplyDeleteChris, That's more my speed. No shear drops to give me brain freeze. Enjoying the the trip and the footage man, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI found Moab by mistake in 1991 while driving across country in my built 78 GMC Jimmy.. I was in awe when I woke up in the morning at the Redstone Inn, been hooked ever since... Look for a way to retire there...
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I was just going to ask you how the trail cam set-up was working out!
ReplyDeleteI used the CRAP out of that front camera! It's the only one I really used. Go watch the Hell's Gate video and you will see how handy it was. There is an internal view of the run near the end.
ReplyDeletequestion... any issues with the (cameras) running hot? the camera heads I mean? oh, 2nd Q, where did you decide to mount the front cam?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my Favorite trails!!!
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] I didn’t have time to run them both back in July so I randomly picked the North. I didn’t find it very enjoyable due to the constant washboard bumpiness.
ReplyDelete+Maxey yeah... Then it sounds like we picked the right one. π
ReplyDeleteYou gotta do the whole trail! The last half of the north is the best part of it all! It's what the trail gets it's name from. Last 3 miles. It's beautiful. Anyone that says otherwise hasn't done the whole trail.
ReplyDeleteAre you loading maps on to the alpine system?
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
