How To Fix Can't Load Android System Recovery Screen Seicane or Other Car Stereo Head Unit

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtyNu8R1Ri0&w=640&h=360]

So... yeah. This is a video I didn't think I was going to make. I honestly didn't think my first attempt to fix this was going to work. But, it did. So now I am catching you up.

Here's the screen that came up:

Can't Load Android System. Your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message, you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device.

Seems easy enough to hit that "try again" option...but there are no physical buttons on this device. Only soft buttons and a single reset button. Here's how I solved it.

  3. Obviously it would not have helped you in this situation, but it makes me wonder if a Bluetooth keyboard can be paired up. I have the 2nd gen seicane too (thanks to your video series on it) the only thing I did different was I added a 8 channel RCA switch to run my back up cams. your ordeal here hasn't happened to me yet... but it'll be nice to know I can recover if it does, thanks!

I am almost 99% positive you can use a bluetooth keyboard... unless of course... the OS didn't boot. :-)

  8. Thanks to you, I just ordered the H201g seicane unit. Haha.... debated for a while if I wanted to pull the trigger on the pac unit, but after giving your video of your install a few dozen views, I decided I wanted mine to work as seamless as yours with the steering wheel controls and such. I don't have the factory amp, but I do have an aftermarket amp and subwoofers. So I'm thinking of wiring it as suggested from the manufacturer with all 4 speaker outputs, and wiring up the sub with the audio outputs as you would normally do. 1 question, did you use the bracket that sits inside the dashboard that holds the stock radio? I have a custom set up right now with my CB mounted inside my dash and had to remove it. But I still have it if I need to reinstall it to hold the seicane unit.

Those are Bartact seat covers... and I had a local shop (12th Street Embroidery) add my logo to the headrests.

  10. The bracket is unused with the seicane for the radio. You do still need that brace for the top panel to be screwed into...but looking at your pic, you seem to still have that in place?

  11. O3DJeeps ok, we might be talking about the same thing. The piece I'm referring to is the piece that's inside the console that yes that top bolt goes into and supports the radio from the inside. No I currently don't have it in use right now as the cb was too wide to utilize it. So I removed it and made my own support bracket to hold both the cb and radio. But yeah the piece is just a square piece that is held in by 2 bolts and that top bolt goes into it.

  12. You'll want to put it back in when you install the seicane. That top center bolt sorta locks the entire assembly in place (along with the lower bolt that is between the vents (behind the window controls)

  17. What mapping software are you using on the Seicane now? I'm struggling with my current map software.

  18. What launcher is that? So much faster than mine.

  19. Question: can the Seicane display two apps side-by-side in a split screen format, like the newer Android phones can?
