In this video, I go over setting the various User Programmable Features in the Omega Excalibur AL-1775-3DB Alarm and Remote Start System.

Feature #1 - Remote Start Run Time
Feature #2 - Flashing Light Confirmations
Feature #3 - Confirmation Chirp Volume
Feature #4 - BROWN Wire Audible Output
Feature #5 - Ignition Controlled Lock/Unlock
Feature #6 - Open Door Bypass of Ignition Locking
Feature #7 - Unlock w/ Trunk Release
Feature #8 - Remote Start Activation From The Remote
Feature #9 - Last Door Arming
Feature #10 - Automatic Rearming
Feature #11 - Confirmation Chirps
Feature #12 - Anti-Carjacking
Feature #13 - SecureCode
Feature #14 - Ignition Activated Override
Feature #15 - Alarm Trigger Duration
Feature #16 - Arming Delay
Feature #17 - Open Door Warning Upon Arming

Here's how to enter programming mode:

Step 1 Turn the ignition key “ON”, then “OFF”.
(I found waiting a couple of seconds helped)

Step 2 Within 5 seconds of step 1, press the valet switch 5 times to access user features
~ The siren/horn will sound and the status light will turn on.

Step 3 Within 10 seconds of step 2, press the valet switch the number of times corresponding with the desired feature’s number.
~ The siren/horn will chirp, the status light, and the parking lights will flash equal to the selected feature.

Step 4 Change the feature by pressing the transmitter button that corresponds with the desired setting. The siren/horn will chirp to correspond with the chosen setting.

  2. I love Omega and their Excalibur line but I hate programming this way. When I installed the compustar on my Jeep I used the OP-500 programmer and man what a breeze! I hope Omega develops a similar device soon!!

  5. A little birdie told me that something is in the works. :-) But to be fair... it takes just a few minutes to program, and then you'll likely never mess with it again!

  8. True... but most people aren't going to have a loader, you have to have an account for omegaweb (usually only installers)
