This is Hell's Gate at Hell's Revenge. It's a super fun, but optional obstacle near the overlook area. I show you three different camera views as my friend George and I go around this horseshoe shaped obstacle. Also, bonus footage at the end of a JL Diesel Prototype being driven up Hell's Gate by FCA Engineers who were out doing some testing and tuning.

Skinny pedal management
ReplyDeleteWas that diesel just a sock JL?
ReplyDeleteWas a diesel.
ReplyDeleteIt's the secret to life! Keep it level manager throttle LOL
ReplyDeletedid you see that kia ad claiming that their new sorento could climb hells gate like it was no big deal? lol
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Looks like you made it up just fine
ReplyDeleteYou two made it look soo easy. :) Awesome footage.
ReplyDeleteThanks CPO. This is what inspires the rest of us to get out there. Leaving Ouray for Moab today. Still on fence on Hells Gateπ¬
ReplyDeletePucker factor!
ReplyDeleteAwsome skill...no spotter and just a non-stop smooth roll to the top. Well done! Did you use lockers front and rear? Thanx!
ReplyDeleteAnother great video CPO. Like the music you chose and you made it look to easy. That diesel sounded pretty good at least in the video and seemed to climb pretty good. Jeep on from π¨π¦
ReplyDeleteVery nice...thanks for sharing, I loved it. Here you can see the importance of having a forward facing trail camera. Did you drive on that? I know that with the nose up, there's not a lot to see ;-) at 17:37 you see the realease of tension in your co riders face...he starts to laugh mildly near the top after 1 minute of squeezing his but....hahahaha loved it.
ReplyDeleteLove the 3 perspectives, greta job!!! Excellent skinny pedal control!! I guess all them roll overs where trying to drive it like a race car, lol. How are you liking the TMR steering components vs the YETI that you previously ran?
ReplyDeleteLove it. Love the perspectives. y u no 360 though!? :P Looks like an awesome trip. I want to get out there someday when I've got the time, money, and a tow rig. I'll be sure to ping you if it ever happens.
ReplyDeleteNothing else but a ππΌ!! Loved It!
ReplyDeleteGreat footage!
ReplyDeleteSuper video!
ReplyDeleteNice vid and smooth driving.. Bonus on the JLU diesel.. :)
ReplyDeleteI also wondered if it was stock & if the lower center of gravity made it not do the Jeep wave?π€π
ReplyDeleteOh, & loved the video! What kind of system do you have set up for the trail assist cam? I knew these had to exist, besides my idea of mounting my GoPro to the bumper. lol
ReplyDeleteCause it isn't
ReplyDeleteThat was fun, some serious hold your breath OK breathe moments. The sound track was awesome, thanks. Bumper cam would be cool, is the dash cam feeding the I PAD?
ReplyDeleteIntense. Great skill.
