o3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] the thing about the tj is that it gives a lot of generic code like “transmission fault” and it requires a code reader to get a more in depth code
Love the vids, been lurking for a while. I usually haven’t read the comments so apologies if you’ve mentioned this. You said your son’s name was C.J. Did you name him after the Jeep? :)
I had the P0455 on my 2001 TJ for a while. Assumed it was the gas cap since it was original to the Jeep. Replaced the cap and reset it, but the code would continually show up after a couple days of driving. Found some dry rotted vacuum lines/elbows under the hood one day near the brake booster and replaced them. The code hasn't shown back up in over a year.
I have a code reader if you ever need it, feel free to ask , I can ship it out to you
ReplyDeleteThanks... but as you can see in this video, I don't really need a code reader....
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] yes. That’s why I said if you ever need one.

ReplyDeleteExtremely useful. It’s crazy that a lot of people don’t know this, btw also works on Xjs
