Thanks to Chesapeake Jeep Club for organizing this opportunity to honor a fallen hero. Cpl. Mujahid Ramzziddin was killed helping a neighbor who had run to his home for assistance during a domestic incident. Jeepers are a compassionate bunch, and we tend to have close ties to our Law Enforcement brothers and sisters. Many of us were cops, or are cops. I often see the discussion come up regarding the benefits of the five tire rotation in comparison to a four tire rotation. The claim is often that you get 20% more tread life from your tires if you add your spare into the rotation. Well... not quite. You get 20% more MILEAGE on your vehicle before you need to buy tires. But, you do have to buy 5 tires instead of 4. However, there are some down sides to the 4 tire rotation... so I tried to cover that in this video.

In this video, I walk you through my test bit of these AUXMART aluminum finder liners. For most people, these are probably going to be a very easy installation. For me, however, I do have to make some modifications to clear it existing parts.
These aluminum liners are very thin, which makes them lightweight. However, they also bend very easily. I don't see this as a problem once they are installed. They have a very simple job, and that is to protect if the engine compartment and also allow for some ventilation. I don't think you need heavy duty liners to achieve that goal. So for the price point, these might be a good fit for those of you on a budget or, like me, who want to just experiment was something without spending too much money before you start.

Project 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ - Multifunction Switch Wiring Harness Connector Replacement
The melted and brittle multifunction switch harness plug... it's a pretty common issue of the mid-2000s Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge vehicles... There is lots of speculation on why this happens, but many agree its because they decided to run way too many amps into a single switch. The switch connector gets very hot, and melts on the Batt+ side (as mine did) and the overall connector becomes very fragile. Replacement is the best solution.

If you need just a connector, maybe you can find it by itself... but I couldn't.

Multifunction Connector Terminal and Wire Removal - Dorman 645-206 Jeep Chrysler Pin Re-Pin Tool
I made this video because I couldn't find the info anywhere else. Once I figured it out, I knew I had to share it so someone else could learn how to do this.
