Lol got all exited for nothing....
ReplyDeleteYou just wanted to see me drill holes in the hood, lol! I realized it was better to spend the time going over the cowl first because there isn't much info on it (even for as long as it's been around). I promise... there will be holes in the next video!
ReplyDeleteI put the Daystar side hood vents on mine and it looks much better than stock. Sorta like the newer Rubicon hoods minus the sunkeness look I don't like. I'm old school, I prefer Wranglers not to have hood cowls or chrome. To me those elements are for classic muscle cars. But hey to each their own.
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] of course thats what we all want to see!! lol...thought about the louvers but cant bring it upon myself to cut up my hood yet. the cowl hood looks pretty sharp and like that its not metal being bolted to the steel hood like all the louvers. Will keep an eye out for the second video!!
ReplyDeleteYeah.. what a tease... 😜 Ha Ha.. Nice video!!
ReplyDeleteLike that "cowl induction" look on overclocked
ReplyDeleteLooks good. Have you looked into what happens if water gets into the air duct will it sit in there or will it drain out some how?
ReplyDeleteI assume it will just run out via the inlet port over the radiator fan.
ReplyDeleteI like it!

ReplyDeleteI am seriously digging the look of this. Can't wait for the next video!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the hood but.. with the scoop in the front isnt all your doing catching the cooler front air and exiting it before it gets to the engine ?
ReplyDeleteRepost?
ReplyDeletesavagecomanche yeah sorry. I had to fix a typo and I wasn't happy with the color correction on the other one. YouTube doesn't allow replacements..... So I had to repost. Video #2 will be up later tonight hopefully.
ReplyDeleteWait another tease??? Lol
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you or many other Jeeps have the big 3 or big 4 ground wire setup on there ride?
ReplyDeleteThat one is actually on my radar... I imagine I'll be doing it soon. It's on the list. It's a long list. lol Before I do the upgrade I'd like to figure out how to test the benefits. I'd like to demo the value if there is one, or the lack of value if there isn't.
ReplyDeleteCPO - cant wait to see the final setup!
