Here's another guest installation video. This one is from one of my subscribers, Mike Gonsalves. He was kind enough to grab some video of his installation of these Nicoko LED 3" pods with halos. I was actually surprised how easy these were to install. Not having to deal with switch wiring is a huge bonus.
Here's where to find the LED pods that Mike installed in this video:

They also have other options, such as this 300w 52 Inch Curved Led Light Bar - http://amzn.to/2FMXpX1
or this Nicoko 20/22 Inch 120w Straight Led Light Bar with Chasing RGB halo - http://amzn.to/2FGvrJp
So if this is something that might interest you... go check em out!
Thanks again, Mike!

So let's be clear here. Instead of wiring a permanent switch which you can find in the dark on your dash, you want to hunt for a remote unless you drive around with the remote in your hand. And all those pretty flashing colors, it's like an amusement park . Stupid. It's A JEEP. A JEEP WRANGLER.

ReplyDeleteLol... I hear you, I can see not everyone liking the “amusement park” thing... but some may. That’s why I mentioned that I’ll probably use the constant orange like extra marker lights or even the white halos for extra light dispersion. As far as the 6 main LEDs in each pod they are a lot brighter than I expected them to be. I also found out that if you wire the lights to a switch, they will turn on and off like normal. Just need the remote for the halos then. And with a little piece of Velcro, I can put the remote pretty much anywhere I’d like.
