Design and Performance:

Designed for avid off roaders, this kit adds a durable vented cowl that can be painted to match for a straight from the factory appearance, while providing substantial ventilation to your engine bay.

Installation:

This cowl is installed with use of an included large, easy to use template for perfect cutting and drilling. While modification is required to your hood for installation, this mod fully retains your factory under hood liner for a like stock fitment.

Application:

This Daystar Hood Cowl is specifically designed for use on 2011-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. May not work in conjunction with the Rubicon X hood.

    It's called knifeless tape... and it's amazing! It's basically fishing line buried in tape, and as you can see it cuts through the vinyl nicely. It was really cool to watch.

  5. Chris, you have done a masterful job on all the upgrades to your JKU. But the best part is the video documentation. You take it step-by-step, even when drilling into the hood (gotta admit, I even started to sweat just watching!)

  9. I have to be honest..I do not like when guys have a bunch of different colors and silly accessories on their rigs, but your is done very tastefully. Just enough color to break up the monotony without being kiddish or over the top. Well done! Looks good clocked!
