Awesome job! Very very professional! Thanks for the great series of videos!
ReplyDeleteThese are cool but I'm ok with my 150 dollar halos lol
ReplyDeleteLooks great but right at the end when testing, seemed like when you said right the left was blinking, and vice versa. Great series though explaining these lights and how to install.
ReplyDeleteWait so do your stock turn signals not work anymore? Or did you just not plug them back in?
ReplyDeleteHa... I must have been saying it as looking from the front. I never even noticed that hahah.. It's wired right, I just said it backwards. Good catch!
ReplyDeleteNo problem, was absolutely trying to be helpful if the left was wired to right, etc. Not trying to be negative at all.
ReplyDeleteThey still work. I didn't have them plugged in for the test.
ReplyDeleteYou can see them working here: https://www.facebook.com/o3djeeps/videos/2014267595504225/
ReplyDeleteI didn't take it any other way! It would have been easy to fix... just swap wires... but it works right I promise. lol
ReplyDeleteEncore du joyeux travail superbe merci de partager cela superbe sur la jeep 👍🚙
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the splice/Electrical it pays to take your time. Will the lower turn indicators work also or are they now bypassed? I didn’t see them blink during the demo
ReplyDeleteThey work. I just didn't have them plugged in for the test. I never would have thought that people would wonder that so it didn't dawn on me at the time.
ReplyDeleteBig fan of liquid tape, I use it to coat magnet mounts to wire down wiring looms on frames as a elements protectant
ReplyDeleteThe indicators looks good, but I think once that main HID lights are burning it will be hard to see at night. I would make the inside two blink, if one still can't see it clearly at night I would make all three blink...
ReplyDeleteFunky Dodo I still have the regular blinkers...
ReplyDeleteFunky Dodo that's a great point tho! I should do a night test to see how it looks.
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] I have converted my standard light bulbs to HID on my Mitsubishi Triton, I've noticed that the lights bulbs are so bright now that other drivers stuggle to see my blinkers. I just thought that you might have a look and see if it's the same with your new light setup. Great videos, keep up the good productions.
ReplyDeleteI always love your videos! If you’ve never tried it, in the future you can use a set of automatic wire strippers to strip back the insulation for your t-tap/military splice. That way there’s less likelihood of cutting yourself or damaging the wire. I did it when I had to add a wire after the fact during my radio install. https://www.amazon.com/Tacklife-Self-Adjusting-Stripper-Automatic-Stripping/dp/B076M57KNK/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1522856180&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=automatic+wire+stripping+tool&psc=1
ReplyDeletewhat is the name brand of the liquid tape you used?
