If you installed the TMR Customs Delrin Hinge Liners like I did, or made any similar modification, you may find your door striker is out of alignment with your latch. This is an easy fix. Here's how.

  1. Thanks for the video. I just installed mine last week and noticed this mostly on the passenger front but now I'm going to adjust then all. Really appreciate it.

  2. Did you use any lube on the hinges? Also do you get squeaking now? I changed mine out and honestly I’m not happy. I used emery cloth and sand paper to get door pins nice and smooth. My doors felt like they were on glass for a month maybe 2. Now they squeak and are stiff again.

  3. Any tips for the rattle noise from the rear door after installing 33inch with aftermarket rims?

Amit Keret not sure where to start. Can you explain in more detail? Larger tires don't by themselves cause a door to rattle

  6. o3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] yeah :) when I drive on bumpy road I hear rattle noise if I look on the door I can see it moves a bit and make that noise, I understand it's a common issue but will be happy for a fix that dosent include replacing to HD carrier etc. Unless no option at all.

Got it. Use this same method to raise the striker on the door that is making noise. You should be able to adjust it to remove the rattle by putting a little tension on it.

  11. Good video. I have made this adjustment too but still can't get the doors to close correctly. I took my doors off and on a lot last year and I believe in doing so slightly bent the door hindge posts. Time to replace these too.
