I need, would make life easier. Thanks for the info
ReplyDeleteNice! I really want some of these!
ReplyDeleteGreat and funny video. Great strategy ;) i'll have to get a set of those.
ReplyDeleteGENIUS!
ReplyDeleteCould have removed the hinge on the lowers, put it in a vice or something.
Don't use WD40, use MotorKote. Can be found at Meijers. Its a great lubricant
ReplyDeleteYour channel is not good for my wallet.
ReplyDeleteSWBCrawler I think much easier just to use the screwdriver imho
ReplyDeleteTheIndianahurricane I wasn't using it as a lubricant. Thanks tho.
ReplyDeleteWhich bikini top you use on your jeep?
ReplyDeleteAmit Keret I have a trektop nx pro, and the top can work as a Safari top with the windows removed.
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] I know, I was just recommending MotorKote as a lubricant, it's great stuff. Doesn't wash off like wd
ReplyDeleteI had read that it was Wing Deicer, but Wikipedia says you're right.. Also, the old CJ jeeps were metal on metal hinges with no lining.
ReplyDeleteWell. That’s ordered. Lolololol
ReplyDeleteAlmost mandatory! Lol
ReplyDeleteMopar factory should put these on every Jeep. Life saver.
ReplyDeleteFirst time I tried to take the doors off took me 2 hours with a bottle jack too.
After buying and installing the TMR hinge sleeves (with cleaning the hinges and door pins) I put just a dab of fluid film and put the doors back on when it got hot again.
10 months later I took all the doors off again within a couple minutes and with ease. The TMR sleeves are a great investment.
Turning the doors at about 2 o'clock while lifting helps too.
Great video! I need to go doorless more this year
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely planning to keep them off as much as I can this year!
ReplyDeleteo3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] I just gotta get some good mirrors
ReplyDeleteMy motorcycle mirror has served me well this entire time, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G7GUw7nZEA With that said, I am going to be reviewing some mirrors from https://americanoutlawjeepparts.com/ soon. I hope.
ReplyDeleteTMR, Awesome Products, no more Gunkificationing on your door pins. A tip for others, if a bushing will not come out with the tool, use a small reamer or step drill bit from the top side. Be very gentle with it and have it just break the corrosion/bond between sleeve and hinge. Love your problem solving skills and honesty in reviews, installs, etc.
ReplyDeleteIf the hinges go in so easy with hand pressure. Do they come out as easy when you decide to take the doors off at a later date. Like next spring? Seems like it would stick with the hinges on door.
ReplyDeleteHey, CPO! Been watching a while now, and I don't recall what sliders those are. What are they? Thanks for the vid. I'm about to put my Delrin pin liners in this weekend or next. Forecast here sucks, so probably next weekend. Thanks, again!
ReplyDeleteJohn Doro So these are the Rock Hard 4X4 Boat sides.... Here's a hint for the futue. You can always search my website for keywords.... Like "sliders" in this case, and see all videos dealing with that topic. I use it myself all the time to find my own videos! Lol

How long were those OEM liners in your Jeep? Mine is a little over a year and I am contemplating doing this.
ReplyDeletenice I can't wait for the video
ReplyDeleteI've had these liners installed for about a year and I removed my doors like I put them on yesterday. No problems, ever. What kind of stand do you have your doors sitting on for the summer? Is that PVC?
ReplyDeleteLove your channel, but you overpay for some of your products (this one for sure- and your rain cover). I did my liners for less than $30 with the tool included too. Even quadratec has em for $30. Keep up the fun/helpful videos. BTW...did trail cams like you did. It was awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna throw the BS flag on this one. I have the Delrin liners and this is my horror story. I decided to replace my sleeves with the delrin liners. Well, the stock inserts are $h!t and I would up bending the driver door trying to replace it. 300 bux later at the body shop, I got my door fixed and the liners in. End of story. No. Last week my hinges start creaking, back to the same old $h!t today. using the jack to work the door loose. Not supposed to happen with the Delrin liners. Removed the doors with much pain and added lithium grease to the pins. No noise but they are still tight. I tried to lift off a door after all this and they are still tight. If anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong, I am all ears....
ReplyDeleteGreat comment
ReplyDeleteGot these last Fall, but I still have trouble each Spring getting the doors to budge. But once you do that first time each Spring, it gets easier.
ReplyDeleteTalez From the DashCam I’ve had the same problems, even with the delrin inserts. Haveing short fenders does not help. I don’t care what anyone says... the hinges fill with fine dirt from daily use and cause the doors to stick, squeak and be a PITA to get off
ReplyDeleteBuy a Prius
ReplyDeleteCamilo Uribe Life is too short to drive a shitbox and besides my kids won't remember 50 miles to the gallon. Jeeps are measured smiles by the miles.
ReplyDeleteCamilo Uribe a Prius is not compatible with my way of life.
ReplyDeleteSWBCrawler It shouldn't be compatible for anyone, well maybe little old ladies.
ReplyDeleteJeep Life71 yeah bro i own 2 jks and never care about mpg
ReplyDeleteSWBCrawler good to know ! Jeep life isn’t cheap
ReplyDeleteCamilo Uribe Heck yeah, you gotta pay to play
ReplyDeleteCamilo Uribe the jk is an economy car compared to some of the rigs I've owned.
ReplyDeleteSWBCrawler hahaha 🚙
ReplyDeleteJeep Life71 I bet! Old muscle v8?
ReplyDeleteSWBCrawler Yep
ReplyDeleteYou always make great videos and you had me convinced until I went to their website to order a set. $50 bucks for 8 little plastic tubes, and thats the reduced price! I'll check the site every now and again to see if they reduce them to something more affordable. But keep making these great videos.
ReplyDeleteJust ordered them thank you for sharing. You've been making me pull the Wallet out quite often here lately. Just ordered the rain gear Trail cover yesterday and the Justice off-road Molle tailgate panel with the first aid kit and a few other attachments this morning. It's like keeping up with the Joneses
ReplyDeleteNice instructional video with real deal glitches thrown in.
ReplyDeleteI installed a set today on my JKU, once I got the doors off...they are definitely going to make door removal a lot easier. Thank you and thanks TMR !
