Project 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ LED Headlight Install

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NfgDfasgn0&w=640&h=360]

When I upgraded the headlights in OVERCLOCK3D I decided that I was going to put the LEDs I had in there previously into CJ's Jeep. He could really use the lighting upgrade. I'll probably wire in the halos for him later, but for now, he just needs some better headlights! This is an easy plug and play swap, as you can see.

They are generics that a lot of people sell. These have custom amber Halos (instead of white) with turn signal integration. Here's a pair without halos: https://amzn.to/2FQIs2q And here is a pair with: https://amzn.to/2rpBfSy The ones with the halos are actually cheaper! lol I don't know any of these sellers, but they are all the same lights just sold by a billion people under a billion different brand names.

Sometimes I just need to get things done. As much as I'd like to tell you my son enjoys working on the Jeep. He doesn't. He has different priorities right now. He's a multi-sport high school athlete in a demanding college prep school. So he is doing homework as I do this. Sorry to say, but these little things I just need to knock out and can't wait on him to have the availability or the interest. Remember, he can't even drive by himself yet. I hope that once he starts driving and using the Jeep, he will start to get more interested in working on it...but time will tell.

  6. Do you not need one of those Anti-Flicker adpters for those LEDS?

Not for the TJ. For the JK I did... no CANBUS in the TJ.

You know nothing about my son. I won't sit by and let someone talk crap about him. You, sir, can move along.

  13. I think I’m gonna end up buying the ones from Paul’s shop. They look similar and haven’t heard any complaints about them, cool video though 👍🏼

  14. The benefit from buying from Paul is that he will stand behind them with a shop warranty. Buy from somewhere else, and who knows if you get any support if you have a problem.

  15. Yea he’s my go to for all jeep parts. I like to support the small businesses.

  16. Plus like you said he stands behind all of his work and products 100% with no hassle

  17. sean yeah I saw those look good.😀 I personally won't use LEDs for headlights because halogens work best in winter as they get warm enough to melt snow and ice especially when highway driving. Just use a good quality Phillips bulb. Currently running the crystal visions noticably brighter than stock. Maybe one day I'll spend the money on the heated trucklite led headlights.

  18. Rhino Willy's I was looking at the truck lites , they have heated and non heated very nice and have a black look also , for now il try these cause they were 87$ but that’s smart thinking , a lot of people don’t consider the snow , for me it’s not a big deal cause my jeeps not my daily driver since I bought a suv a few months ago so w/e it snows il just use that , but if these don’t work il def get the truck lites

    Yep! Exactly that!

  25. o3djeeps [ OVERCLOCK3D Jeeps ] I have the same on my JK. I have over 30k miles on them and they still have a great amount of tread. Of course I always do the 5 tire rotation.
