  5. I rock a similar grille on my jeep but unfortunately most people hate the look, and fact that you mess with the Original grill

MiguelGGM yeah...it's a very polarizing modification. Some folks get pretty bent when you mess with the classic grille design. Its not a good fit for my Jeep, but I think it looks good on a lot of other builds. I wouldn't worry about what others think. For as many people who are vocal about hating it, there are many more who silently like it. :-)

  7. Good Job Reid in explaining the install! I like the look of your new grill. But... I like the look of old school 7 slot better! Good video!

  16. Have the same grill and I love it... if you don’t like it don’t put it on your Jeep. People going to hate but it’s your Jeep, your build, do what you want that makes your build, your way.

  18. GRRR I'M SO TOUGH I HAVE TO OBSTRUCT MY HEADLIGHT OUTPUT TO MAKE MY JEEP LOOK ANGRY GRRR

I'll keep mine wide open and clear so I'm not worrying about missing shit on the trail. I'll also not obstruct my view by putting 5 lightbars in front of my windshield as some of these yuppie mall crawlers like to do. I'll also not put an exhaust on that juts down from the bottom of my Jeep so it doesn't get ripped off while on the trail just so I can have the redneck equivalent of a ricer's fart can.

Mods that actively hinder visibility and offroad worthiness of a Jeep being built to go off-road are not only moronic, but look tacky as hell as well, and I laugh at them when they come down the road.

You want to impress someone who values off-road worthiness? Run that exhaust up above the bumper or to an area where slamming down on rocks won't crush it. Run light bars in areas that will give extra visibility without blocking your view as best you can. Change out your headlights to ones that throw more light out onto the path and put guards on them so they don't get smashed.
