A COMPLETE Powertank CO2 System Overview! Setup, Fill up, and Use

This 30 minutes of just about everything you need to know about why I got this Powertank 10lb setup, how to put it together, how to fill it, and how to use it. More importantly, I'll tell you my thoughts on the age old debate of CO2 vs On Board Air!

From the website:

If you want Power Tank Performance but you're on a compressor budget here's a starter system that is just as fast as the more expensive Power Tank Package Deals but without some of the frills. Add on accessories later as you can afford them. This is a 10 LB system; the most popular size that we sell. We call it a 10 LB system because that is how much CO2 gas it can hold when full.
The 10 LB tank comes in your choice of colors: Team Yellow, Candy Blue, Gloss Black, Matte Black, and Candy Red.
Details:

Armorcoat Tank with chrome valve
10 lb. PT System Basic
HP250i Regulator
Power Grip Guard
30 Foot Superflex Braided Hose
Coupler Fittings
Tire Air Chuck
Dim: 7 Inch dia. x 24 Inch Ht., 27 lb. wt. full

Back when Steve invented the first Power Tank in 1996 it was to inflate his offroad tires after wheeling through a trail to keep them from getting chewed up driving to the nearest gas station. This new concept worked so well that he decided to make it into a product and offer it to other offroaders. One year later the first prototype was refined into the first commercial Power Tank and was put on the market. It was not as refined as today's Power Tank but it was Fast and people liked it. Pretty soon the little Power Tank company in Steve's garage needed his full time attention so he quit his salary job as a designer at a leading bicycle company and became Power Tank Steve full time. Power Tanks are sold all over the world to several different markets but the market that we have the most passion for still is the off road market. And as tires have gotten bigger and tire pressures have increased the need for Power Tanks has grown. Do yourself a favor.

If you're looking for an air system or you're ready to upgrade your air system talk to a Power Tank owner and ask them why they'll never go back to a compressor ever again.

23rd Annual PA Jeeps All Breeds Jeep Show - 2018

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZ4ToPGYzCg&w=640&h=360]

The PA Jeeps All Breeds Jeep Show is the only one I have never missed since buying my Jeep in 2015. This was my fourth time to attend, and I usually only make it on the first day (Saturday).

Here's the entire day, as much as I could capture! It was raining off and on, but we got a few moments of clear skies here and there. I was the second to the last person on the CTI trailer, because they closed it and the Obstacle Course down early due to weather.

I hope you enjoy this video. I tried to capture as many Jeeps as I could... some came after I shot the footage, of course, but I tried to grab as many as I could.

Installing the Exhaust System that Doesn't Exist - Dynomax Quiet Crawler - Before Axle Dump - JKU

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3ahQdILqX4&w=640&h=360]

When I was researching exhausts, I found the Dynomax Quiet Crawler, and I thought it might be a good fit for my needs. The problem is, they don't make the system anymore. However, I found (thanks to a forum post over at wayalife.com) that the parts are available separately and that it was possible to piece your own system together. So that's what I did.

So, here is the instructions for the original quiet crawler system (it's a rear dump behind the axle):

http://www.dynomax.com/downloads/instruction_pdf/39535%20InstRev0316.pdf

Here's the instruction where I found the downturn and hanger bracket:

http://www.dynomax.com/downloads/instruction_pdf/39522%20InstRev0418.pdf

Here are the parts (Amazon links, but you can shop around and take advantage of promotions). They are listed in order of my install.

DynoMax 52561 Intermediate Pipe - https://amzn.to/2L4nF2J
Dynomax 17283 Ultra-Flo SS Muffler - https://amzn.to/2uyPje3
DynoMax 51113 Extension Pipe - https://amzn.to/2LzeLWY

^ That pipe can probably be substituted for anything much cheaper!

Dynomax 51084 Exhaust Tail Pipe - https://amzn.to/2LxkNaW

Complete Guide to Off Road Communications! CBRS FRS MURS GMRS HAM RACE BUSINESS Radios

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaHuC3bvCdw&w=640&h=360]

This question comes up a lot: What radio should I get? I realize this is a long video, but I made it to help educate folks on the options, both licensed and unlicensed, and what the boundaries are from a legal perspective. Nobody wants to hear these things, and nobody wants to talk about it. The FCC has regulations, and just because you can buy a radio on Amazon, or wherever, doesn't mean you are exempt for the rules. Understand the rules, and then break them if you choose, but at least know where the boundaries are so you can intelligently accept the risks involved.

A New Seicane 10.1 Android Head Unit - Model H201G Installation with PAC RP4-CH11 - Jeep Wrangler

IMPORTANT: You can use the code "O3DJEEPS" at seicane.com to save some money if you buy any of their products.

I decided to upgrade to the latest Seicane Android head unit, and so I picked up this, the H201G. It has an 8 core processor, 4GB of RAM and is running Android 8. My only concern was the reports of it not working well with the factory Alpine amplifier and sub. Because of that, and to save myself some time and grief, I used the PAC RP4-CH11 harness for this installation.

How To Ream the Taper for Tie Rod End on Knuckles using a Reamer Bit- Jeep Wrangler Jk - Reid Racing

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-lGJ0DAiVc&w=640&h=360]

In this video, I show you how I reamed the tie rod tapered holes on my Reid Racing knuckles to better fit my tie rod ends from TMR Customs. This is my first time to perform this particular task. It was a frightening idea, but it actually turned out to be a pretty easy job. If you have any tips for the next guy... please post in the comments!

Here is the reamer bit I was using: https://amzn.to/2m7QAUN

For Proper Fitting of Ball Joints and Tie Rod Ends
1 1/2" taper per Foot or 3 Degrees 34 minutes per side
Small Diameter 15/32-Large Diameter 1 1/32"
Three Flats on Shank for better Grip in Chuck

You can find them cheaper, but I needed this quick. It came same day delivery from Amazon... :-)

🔔 Please CLICK THE BELL if you want to see my videos! 🔔

The JK tie rod end taper is the same "1-in-8" taper (which is also labeled as 1 1/2" taper per Foot) that most other American vehicles use but it has a unique dimension of 0.640" at the small end.

The "1-ton" tie rod end is the industry standard for aftermarket steering systems. They're cheap, plentiful, strong, and available with both left-hand-thread and right-hand-thread for easy on-vehicle adjustment. There are also special offset versions available for vehicles where clearance is a problem, such as a diff cover guard or extra-thick diff cover. The "1-ton" tie rod end uses the same "1-in-8" taper as the JKs, but their small-end dimension is 0.650".

Reid Racing currently drills their holes to a slightly smaller than stock JK taper (mine were around 0.630 but I don't know the "official number").

DIY Alignment Toe Set Tool, 5 lug Patterns

=====================================================

http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/diy-alignment-toe-set-tool-5-lug-patterns.html

Going off road means things are going to get bent, loosened up, and need repair. It would get expensive fast if you had to take your truck in for alignment every time you worked on the front end.

While camber and caster can be adjusted on most vehicles, there is not much adjustment for camber on solid axle trucks. While caster can be adjusted either with control arms on 4- and 3-link trucks or with leaf spring shims on leaf spring trucks, toe is sometimes hard to adjust without help or a special tool.

For all of these reasons, there is the DIY Alignment Toe Set Tool. To use, just follow these simple steps:

Put your vehicle on jack stands
Remove the wheel
Bolt the tool to your hub
Align the tool side to side at the same level
Apply brakes
Use tape measure to check toe in and toe out as well as total toe
To find camber, rotate the tool up and attach a magnetic angle finder
Works great and saves you money!

Most vehicles are approximately 1/8-1/4" total toe in. We like to run about 1/8" toe in to avoid tire wear since incorrect toe is the major cause of tire wear on any vehicle.

This kit includes (2) toe alignment plates - laser cut and zinc plated for corrosion resistance.

Center Hole Diameter: 4.5"
Lug Hole Diameter: 1/2" (can be drilled larger for larger lugs)
