That's awesome to have a backup like that!! Another thing added to my wishlist! Nice how the rain helped show how quickly it works!
ReplyDeleteWow gotta love Maryland you earn that thumbs up
ReplyDeleteThat mini Monsoon played well during the "backup" powertank system demo for a quick fix of a failed air compressor while on the trail...
ReplyDeleteYou really did earn that one....great job!
ReplyDeleteSo funny with the rain. great videos keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI've been searching (with no luck) for your install video on the ARB compressor. Wondering which ARB model you went with and what mount you used. Thanks for all of you videos, lots of good ideas and tips.
ReplyDeleteYou should do a rig walk-around for your jeep cuz you have a lot of stuff and even though i try to watch all your videos as they come out i know I've missed stuff
ReplyDeleteWhere does one go to get custom decals made like you have on the side of your hood?.......thank you
ReplyDeleteBLAHAHAHA GOOD STUFF
ReplyDeleteA buddy of mine can do it for you. Look up 12th Street Embroidery in Maryland. Can can cut vinyl.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time eh.
ReplyDeleteSo that footage of the air compressor install exists it's just never been edited and published. maybe I can do that soon.
ReplyDeleteVery cool - thanks for another interesting video!
ReplyDeleteGreat video, despite the rain. Thanks for the demo.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I think we were filming on the same day! Had the same thing happen with the rain. Are you sure you hit the switch for the lockers and not the one marked heavy rain? :0)
ReplyDeleteThat tank is an awesome addon to any Jeep. Here is another addon I think is great as well especially for trails.

Great video! I'm looking into the CO2 system as well, as opposed to a fixed/portable compressor. One thing to consider is a distribution, or piping failure to the various devices. If you snap an air line at one of the axles, you might lose all of your air. I don't think there's a check valve at each device. A solution might be a small manifold off of the compressor with a valve per port tucked out of the way to quickly isolate that outlet. Of course, the event of that happening is slim!
ReplyDeleteEach device has it's own solenoid, and flipping the switch is all that's required to isolate it from the system. Same way it's enabled can be used to disable.
